This committee is responsible for parish activities that bring families together for fun, and fellowship. They provide opportunities for parishioners to meet their church family and get to know them on a more personal basis. Events include:
Father/Son Dinner- Each year the week before Fathers Day the parish honors all men of the parish with a dinner. Every man is either a father or a son and all are invited to attend. It is customary for the women of the parish to cook and host this dinner.
Mother/Daughter Banquet- Each year on the Wednesday before Mothers Day, all women of the parish are invited to attend this dinner in their honor. It is customary for the men of the parish to cook and host this dinner.
Graduation Celebration- Each year on the first Sunday of June all those who have graduated from eight grade, high school, or college are invited to attend Mass that weekend and be recognized for their achievement. They receive a blessing from the parish.
Children’s Halloween Party- The parish sponsors a Halloween party for all children of the parish. They play games, have snacks, make pumpkins, have their picture taken and they get the chance to make a frame for their picture. The admission to the party is one canned good that is used for the Advent Giving Project.
