Eucharist
"In the Holy Eucharist we become one with God like food with the body" - St. Francis De Sales.
Holy Eucharist is the Sacrament in which Jesus Christ gives his Body and Blood for us, so that we too might give ourselves to him in love and be united with him in Holy Communion. In this way we are joined with the one Body of Christ, the Church.
The sacrament of Eucharist is administered for the first time in second grade in the parishes of Sacred Heart and Saint Augustine. For children third grade through high school, we are happy to have you receive the sacrament of Eucharist with us for the first time, or an Adult who is a baptized Catholic but has never received the Eucharist. Please contact us to make arrangements for instruction.
To register for preparation classes please contact the Kyle Naugle at youthministry@jeffersonvillecatholic.org or 812-282-2677. For questions regarding Holy Communion to the home bound please contact the parish office 812-282-2677.
